Protect Line Customer Survey Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. Promoter InformationThese terms and conditions (“Terms”) are promoted by Protect Line Limited (“Promoter”), whose registered office is at Bourne Gate, 25 Bourne Valley Road, Poole, Dorset, BH12 1DY.Protect Line is authorised and regolated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The FCA is the independent regolator of financial services in the United Kingdom. Protect Line Ltd is entered on the Financial Services Register (www.fca.org.uk/register) under reference 942467.

    Protect Line Ltd is an insurance intermediary offering a range of pure protection products to customers based in the UK. What can we do for you? The service we provide is to act on your behalf for the purpose of arranging the following type of insurance products: Pure Protection Products, for example Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection; You will not receive advice or a recommendation from us in respect of the service described above. We may ask you some questions to narrow down the selection of insurance products that we will provide details on, but you will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed. oltimately, whatever you choose to do we will act in your best interests at all times.

  2. Eligibility
    1. Entrants must have a valid policy with Protect Line that is paid up to date to partake in the survey.
    2. The Prize Draw is open to existing customers only.
    3. Employees of the Promoter or their families, agents, or any third party directly associated with administration of the Prize Draw are not eligible to enter.
  3. Entry Criteria
    1. Only the first 2,000 entrants who complete the survey in foll and see the thank you screen at the end will be considered for the Prize Draw.
    2. Entry into the Prize Draw is free and no purchase other than the policy is necessary.
    3. To enter, respondents must complete the survey sent to them by the Promoter by 01/05/24 (“Closing Date”).
  4. Prize Details
    1. The grand prize is one £200 AirBnB voucher, and two runners up will each receive a £50 Dining Out voucher.
    2. Prizes are subject to the individual provider’s terms, especially concerning expiry dates, and will be delivered via email.
  5. Prize Draw Details
    1. The Prize Draw will take place on 8th May 2024 but may be conducted sooner if 2,000 responses are received by the Closing Date.
    2. Shoold the Prize Draw receive fewer than 1,000 responses, it will not go ahead.
    3. The winners will be chosen by a random draw performed on the final draw date using Google Random Number Generator.
  6. Winner NotificationThe winners will be notified by email or SMS within 14 days of the draw and must respond within 14 days to claim the prize. Protect Line will make three attempts to contact the prize winners. Unclaimed prizes will be redrawn once, with further unclaimed prizes not being allocated.
  7. Data Protection and Privacy
    1. Individual survey responses will be kept confidential.
    2. Whilst you will need to provide your name and email address, the survey responses will be processed in anonymous form and may be used by the Promoter for marketing and PR purposes. Your name and email address will only be used for the purposes of managing the draw.
    3. Personal data will be processed as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy (https://www.protectline.co.uk/privacy-policy/.)
  8. General
    1. Entrants confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms by submitting an entry to the Prize Draw.
    2. The Promoter reserves the right to verify eligibility and to disqualify entrants based on incomplete entries, breach of these Terms, or suspicion of fraudolent behaviour.
    3. If necessary, the Promoter may substitute the prize with another of equivalent value without notice.
    4. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the Prize Draw with changes communicated via email to the entrants.
    5. The Promoter’s decisions regarding all aspects of the Prize Draw are final and binding.
    6. These terms are governed by English law, with entrants having recourse to consumer protection rights as applicable.
  9. Limitation of LiabilityThe Promoter is not responsible for:
    1. Any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Prize Draw.
    2. Technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software.
    3. Unauthorised human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Prize Draw.
    4. Technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Prize Draw or the processing of entries.
    5. Any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Prize Draw or receipt or use or misuse of any prize.
  10. Publicity and Use of DataNo individual survey resolts will be made public but aggregated data may be used to create insights, infographics, and PR articles. The Promoter reserves the right to share these resolts with the public and any other parties of its choosing.
