Protect Line is a fee-free broker, which means we do not charge any upfront or separate charges for our brokerage service. At no point will you be billed for any service received or administration regarding setting up or managing your policy.
Our service is free for you because we are paid introducer fees by the insurance provider you choose.
As an independent broker we are not biased towards any one insurance provider. As a non-advised broker we are not allowed to recommend a particular insurer or product, only providing the facts. This means that any decision you make is purely yours and never influenced by how much money we may receive.
Protect Line receives an upfront commission for selling you a life insurance policy, but we are required to pay this back if you cancel your policy during a set timeframe. For this reason we are incentivised to ensure you are happy with your policy; it is not in our financial interest to pressure you into a product that you are not comfortable with.

Some strokes can cause extreme harm to health and can cause a coma, or lead to someone dying. Terminal Status Stroke can sometimes require palliative care, where death is expected within months. Depending on the severity of the stroke, a life insurance policy may payout under the terminal illness clause.
If a stroke is of a lesser severity a life insurance policy will not pay out whilst the policy holder is still alive, however death by stroke would be covered at any time, subject to the policy still being active at time of death.
If you are interested in protecting your finances in the case of having a stroke, you could also considerย Critical Illness Cover. This will pay out on diagnosis of a wide variety of illnesses, including if you have a stroke.

Anything youโve suffered in the past, anything youโve had symptoms of, been tested for, received medication, treatment or surgery for, or are expecting to receive in the future. This could be illnesses or ailments such as asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, cancer, stroke, etc. Or more one-off and infrequent issues such as back pain, a sport injury, or even a problem youโve simply gone to talk to your GP about.
