Unfortunately not. If you did not disclose a medical condition that you knowingly had at the time of application, then your life insurance policy is not valid.
You need to have answered all Protect Line’s questions to your best knowledge and disclosed all relevant information about your health and lifestyle. This includes your medical history and that of your closest relatives. If you withheld information, lied or simply forgot something during your application then your policy may not pay out if you were to pass away.
To prevent your family being left in financial hardship upon passing away please contact Protect Line immediately so we can amend your policy and ensure it is completely valid.
All help centre articles are designed to help give generic information to UK consumers. Protect Line operates on a non-advised basis, so no help centre article should be considered as advice or an indication of the terms and conditions of your policy. Insurers also update their terms and conditions from time to time and while Protect Line endeavours to keep all information up to date, there is a chance the information on these pages may become outdated. All information is correct at the time of publication. To ensure you fully understand the terms and conditions of your policy please read all your documents and contact us for clarification if there is something you do not understand.
