What life insurance does Holloway Friendly offer?
Holloway Friendly offers comprehensive income protection plans that cover: Illnesses, accidents, and injuries.
Income Protection is different to Critical Illness cover, where you get a one-off lump sum if you have a specific serious illness. With your Income Protection policy, you can choose both the start date for when your protection plan starts paying out, as well as choosing whether you require payments over the full term of your policy, or for just one or two years.
It pays up to 65% of your income before tax, depending on your cover type (the Classic Plus will pay 60%, the Sick Pay policy accounts for 65%).
With income protection, there is often a pre-agreed waiting period – the deferred period – before the payments begin. They’re commonly periods of 4 weeks up to a year. However, the longer you wait, the lower your monthly premiums will be.
