Applying for Life Insurance

Why can’t I get the rates advertised?

Advertised rates are usually reflective of perfect health and lifestyle and will not be accurate when factoring in your health, medical conditions, family history, age, etc.

Sometimes an insurer will see you as a ‘higher risk’ if you have certain medical conditions and thus your premium payments will be rated higher than those without.

The rule of thumb with life insurance is that it’s generally less expensive the younger you are, as you’re not likely to have developed medical conditions at this time.
