Insurance Broker Awards Nomination

Protect Line are happy to announce that we have been shortlisted for two award categories at the prestigious Insurance Broker Awards 2025: Best Employer and Director of the Year, featuring our very own Lara Maynard, Executive Director of Governance, Risk and Compliance.  

The Insurance Broker Awards celebrates insurance intermediaries of all types for many different achievements ranging from customer service to best company practices, which is why it is an amazing opportunity to be involved with this award and the others in the industry who are also nominated. After working consistently to improve our company culture initiatives and company values, we are happy to see the results within our team and feel the recognition in the industry. We built our values to reflect exactly what we believe as a company and how, as a collective, we can uphold these standards.   

The award for Best Employer evaluates factors like professional training, morale, job creation, industry standards, and third-party recognition. Protect Line, guided by our mission “Investing in our people to protect yours,” has been shortlisted for this award due to initiatives such as the ‘Day to Make a Difference’, Core Champions, and the Core 100 Club, alongside benefits like wellness allowances, flexible working, and training allowances. These efforts are part of our ongoing culture reset to enhance staff training and professional advancement. 

The award for Director of the Year highlights Lara Maynard, Executive Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance, as a deserving candidate. Over the past year, Lara has led our culture reset, promoting motivation and excellence while aligning her initiatives with Protect Line’s strategic objectives and cultural aspirations. Her leadership has significantly contributed to cultural transformation, compliance improvement, and business growth, fostering the positive environment we enjoy today. These efforts, rooted in our core values, have not only strengthened our team morale but also played a crucial role in being shortlisted for the Insurance Brokers Awards.
